AENIB welcomes the decision of the International Maritime Organization to dedicate the 18th of May to recognize the fundamental contribution of women to the various industries related to the sea.

The Spanish nautical sector regrouped again at this ninth edition of the Nautical Congress organised by the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN)

The Annual General Meeting and the subsequent Awards Gala of the Association of Nautical Companies in the Balearic Islands (AENIB) was held at Palma Aquarium this Thursday.

AENIB predicts a year characterized by worsening of stock problems and price increases for the Balearic nautical sector but expects to reap the benefits of their talks with the governmental authorities.

AENIB, in collaboration with the Balearic Employment Services (SOIB) have presented a platform that will serve to raise awareness of the industry among young people, as well as inform them about specialized training in the sector.
