The Spanish Maritime Cluster Organizes the “II Meeting with the Sea”
On October 20, the Spanish Maritime Cluster will hold the “2nd Meeting with the Sea” at the Aubamar Convention Centre—a day bringing together institutional, business, and maritime-sector representatives to reflect on the present and future of the marine and port ecosystem.
Circular economy, management of marine waste, innovation in coastal tourism, and territorial cooperation will be the central themes of this event, structured into three major thematic sessions including round tables, keynote talks, working breakfasts, and institutional acts. The day will conclude with a gala dinner and the presentation of the CMIB “Golden Pines” awards, which recognize distinguished careers and commitment to the sector.
The opening ceremony will feature remarks by Javier Garat, President of the Spanish Maritime Cluster, who will welcome attendees ahead of the first round table: “Circular Economy and Marine Waste,” led by major shipping companies.
One of the key moments of the day will be the presentation of the Manifesto for the Blue Economy in Spain, as well as a round table on innovation and sustainability in coastal tourism, with participation from various regional clusters and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosario Sánchez.
The “2nd Meeting with the Sea” is open to professionals from the nautical and maritime sectors. To attend, simply send an email to info@clustermib.com indicating your first and last name and the name of the event.
