AENIB has received a communication through CAEB requesting the collaboration of companies in the preparation of the new 2027–2031 Strategic Industry Plan for the Balearic Islands, promoted by the Directorate General for Industry and Industrial Estates of the Government of the Balearic Islands, with technical support from INFYDE Global Consulting.

The aim of this process is to gain first-hand knowledge of the reality of the islands’ business and industrial fabric so that the future Plan can incorporate its main needs, difficulties and priorities and, based on these, define measures adapted to the challenges companies will face over the coming years.

AENIB encourages all its member companies and interested professionals to take part in this initiative, particularly given the importance of the industry linked to the nautical sector within the Balearic economy. Business participation will help ensure that the different activities, company sizes and circumstances found across the islands are properly represented when the strategic priorities for the 2027–2031 period are established.

To gather these contributions, a short online questionnaire has been made available, taking approximately five to ten minutes to complete. Responses will be processed in an aggregated, anonymous and confidential manner and will be used exclusively for the preparation of the Strategic Plan.

The questionnaire will remain available until Wednesday, 30 September 2026, and AENIB therefore invites its members to take advantage of this opportunity to share their experience and help identify the priorities that should guide the development and competitiveness of Balearic industry over the coming years.

For any questions regarding the questionnaire, companies can contact the INFYDE Global Consulting technical team by email at miguelwall@infyde.eu or by telephone on 944 804 095.
