Participate in the Review of the New Regulation on the Registration and Flagging of Recreational Craft
The Directorate General of the Merchant Marine (DGMM) has sent ANEN the draft Royal Decree that will approve the new Regulation on the Registration and Flagging of Ships, Recreational Craft, and Personal Watercraft in the Spanish Maritime Registers, with the aim of gathering feedback from the sector before the final approval of the text.
The draft already incorporates several proposals and recommendations that ANEN has submitted to the DGMM throughout the drafting process. However, at this final review stage, the association is carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the document and once again wishes to rely on the experience and expertise of its member companies to help improve the final version of the regulation.
For this reason, AENIB encourages all interested members to take part in this process. Companies wishing to review the draft Royal Decree may request the document by emailing anen@anen.es and subsequently submit their comments and proposals through the same email address.
The deadline for submitting contributions is 6 July.
The participation of companies within the sector is essential to continue building a more effective, up-to-date regulatory framework that reflects the realities of recreational boating. AENIB and ANEN would like to thank all participants in advance for their collaboration and commitment.
