AENIB, in representation of the Balearic nautical employers, participated in the recent meeting of the various regional nautical clusters in Spain with the Spanish Maritime Cluster.

There are many factors that make the Balearic Islands one of the main nautical destinations in the Mediterranean and the world,but in addition, there is another decisive factor that weighs heavily when deciding to come sailing to the Islands: safety.

The boat market is experiencing a positive season driven by domestic demand for nautical activities, which this summer has grown significantly compared to the pre-pandemic year of 2019.

During the first six months of 2021, the Balearic nautical market has recorded 902 registrations of pleasure craft, representing an increase of 22,55% compared to the same period in 2020, when 736 registrations were accounted for.
