Blue Horizon Plaza: innovation, collaboration and a blue future
It will take place from April 29th to May 2nd within the Palma International Boat Show.
This space is conceived as a dynamic meeting point where companies, institutions, professionals, and organizations from the maritime, educational and scientific fields come together with a clear goal: to promote a more sustainable, competitive, and collaborative development model for the nautical sector.
Blue Horizon Plaza is thus established as an open forum for dialogue and knowledge exchange, addressing the main challenges and opportunities of the Mediterranean from an innovative and constructive perspective.

The opening day will focus on innovation applied to the nautical sector, with particular attention to new materials, sustainable production processes, and circular economy models.
Experts and professionals will explore how innovation can help transform the sector, culminating in a round table on challenges and opportunities in this field.
Thursday April 30th // 10:30 AM | Cooperation Among Nautical Sector Entities
The second day will highlight collaboration between associations, ports, and sector-related entities.
Discussions will examine how cooperation, both locally and regionally, can drive sustainable change, strengthen the business ecosystem, and create a positive territorial impact.
Thursday April 30th // 1:00 PM | Vermut del Mar
A relaxed networking session where attendees can exchange ideas, build connections, and continue strengthening ties within the sector.
Friday May 1st // 10:30 AM | Education and New Generations
The third day will focus on the role of education and training in the future of the nautical sector.
Initiatives aimed at promoting ocean literacy, inspiring younger generations, and developing skills linked to the blue economy will be presented, highlighting the connection between education and employment.
Friday May 1st // 4:30 PM | Mediterranean Navigators Association Presentation
Presentation of the activities planned for 2026 by the Mediterranean Navigators Association.
Saturday May 2nd // 10:30 AM | The Mediterranean: Value and Challenges
The closing day will focus on the Mediterranean, addressing both its value and the key challenges it faces.
Topics will include marine biodiversity conservation, the impact of climate change, human pressure on coastal areas, and best practices related to sustainable navigation, reducing environmental footprint, and combating pollution.
