AENIB represents the nautical sector in the Manacor Vocational Training & Employment Fair

AENIB, representing the nautical companies in the Balearic Islands, participated on Friday with its own stand at the Manacor Vocational Training and Employment Fair (Fira de Formació i Ocupació de Manacor), organized by the City Council of Manacor in collaboration with other entities, including the Balearic Employment Agency SOIB (Servei d'Ocupació de les Illes Balears). The event, focused on publicizing the employment and vocational training options in different sectors, provided an opportunity for a large group of public and private entities to attend dozens of citizens interested in training and employment opportunities in various fields of activity. 

The AENIB stand received a large influx of people interested in the job opportunities related to the sector. Many of the attendees were pleasantly surprised by the wide and varied range of jobs related to yachting, ranging from carpentry to mechanics, painting, electronics or computers, to name just a few examples.

During the fair, AENIB staff collected the CVs of those interested in finding an occupation in the nautical sector, with the commitment to make them available to the more than a hundred associated companies. AENIB also emphasized to the visitors that the marine industry, as one of the main pillars of the Balearic economy, is a sector full of professional opportunities and training options of high added value. Thus, further training and aiming for a career in marine industry is a great option to access well paid jobs with excellent working conditions, in a sector that is always in need of skilled labor.
