AENIB / ANEN wishses you Happy Holiday Season and a prosperous 2026

Dear friends,
The end of 2025 is near, a year that has reinforced the value of being united and of building, step by step, a strong and professional nautical sector prepared to face new times. In these union and family dates, from AENIB / ANEN we want to transmit our best peace, health and prosperity wishes, and thank you for the trust you place on our association.

This has been a particularly relevant year for those who form part of AENIB. After starting a new tight collaboration phase in 2024 alongside ANEN, 2025 has been the consolidation of this link, strenghtening our capacity of representation and offering our companies a more solid, cohesive and efficient voice in the Balearics as well as in Spain as a whole. The unity between the Balearic entity and the national association has allowed expanding services, aligning strategies and reinforcing the interlocution before administrations, institutions and key organisms for the future of our industry.

It has also not been a year without challenges. The market has suffered a significant correction, with drops in registries and a global economic context of uncertainty. Public debates in which, not a few times, seamanship is questioned from perceptions that are foreign to the reality of those who work day-to-day with professionality, rigor and a deep respect for the sea are added.

However, and precisely due to that, 2025 has shown once more that our sector is resilient, innovating and essential for economy and employment in our Islands. Balearic participation in nautical fairs, the tight collaboration with clusters of the sector and the growing commitment for sustainability, training and excellence are clear examples of strength that characterize our companies.

Looking toward 2026, it will be a year to remeet, keep converisng and building new cooperation spaces. In March we will see each other again in Huelva, in the Nautical Congress of ANEN, and that same month we will celebrate the Gala del Mar of AENIB together, two events that will gather companies, professionals and institutions again to share vision, experience and projects that boost our shared future.

From AENIB / ANEN we want to reiterate our commitment to keep defending our interests, boosting innovation, promoting sectorial unity and working so that seamanship keeps being an economic and social reference engine. We are aware of the important challenges, but also of the collective capacity to overcome them. Together we've advanced a lot this yeard and together we will keep setting the path in 2026.
