Top-level yacht racing is set to go ahead at Superyacht Cup Palma (SYC) 2021 with a new-look event adapted to local pandemic restrictions. Organisers have put the focus firmly on the racing in the Bay of Palma with the shoreside venue relocating to Superyacht Cup’s long-standing race management collaborator Real Club Nautico De Palma (RCNP).

Copa del Rey Mapfre is a major event, boasting of more 2000 participants from more 30 countries, and over 3000 persons involved in the regatta on a daily basis, both shoreside and at sea. Publication of the Notice of Race earlier in the year marks the official start of the event, hosted by the Real Club Náutico de Palma.

Última Hora's Economical Forum hosts a talk where nautical field's experts will discuss Palma's port reorganisation project, highlighting the city's consensus, the economy, the territory's connectivity and the industrial competitivity.
AENIB holds its annual assembly and gala. The event will feature broad participation from representatives of its member companies, as well as authorities from the Balearic Government. During the gala, the 15th Nautical Sector Awards Ceremony will take place, where AENIB honors outstanding individuals and organizations in the field.
Since its first edition, Valencia Boat Show has combined the sale of boats and accessories with nautical exhibitions, technical talks and presentations. With three different areas for professionals and the general public, the boat show has created an area dedicated to the exhibition of new boats, engines, electronics, services and maintenance, with direct access to the sea. In addition to a work space with a sheet of water designed for professionals, and focused on connoisseur visitors and users of nautical and professionals in the sector.
The Royal Spanish Naval League and the Spanish Maritime Hub organize the Maritime National Congress, in which the reality that the Spanish maritime field is going through will be discussed, as well as it's near future.
This Congress tries to give a greater visibility to the maritime sector, appealing to creating a maritime awareness in Spain that is useful as a dynamic economic element through all the implied actors.

Apart from exhibiting vessels of new construction, equipment and nautical services, the show has a large exhibition of yachts over 24 m of length and an area dedicated to refit and repair companies.

Following the successful turnout of the first edition, the Balearic Port Authority is once again organizing an open day to showcase the work carried out at the port and to bring the sea closer to the public. On Saturday, 7th of June, the Port of Maó will open its doors for the event “Viu el port”, a day full of activities and workshops for the whole family.
The model Cap Camarat of Jeanneau turns 40. Jaume Vermell will organize an exclusive event on the beach of Es Trenc to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this yacht model, globally renowned for providing a perfect balance between performance and comfort.
The company Sea Teach participates in the International Conference of the BlueGeneration Project, which will take place on September 29 at the Mallorca Chamber of Commerce. A conference where experts from organizations in the blue sector will discuss the opportunities and needs of the sector, in addition to publicizing the itineraries that exist for young people towards a future blue career.
The Association of Naval and Oceanic Engineers of Spain (AINE) celebrates in Palma its 61st National Congress of Naval Engineering and Maritime Industry. This year, naval and maritime industry professionals in Spain will attend more than 35 presentations and round tables that will be held under the theme “The sea. Green impulse towards decarbonization”.
On May 24, AENIB members are invited to attend a virtual round table entitled 'The nautical sector of the Balearic Islands: a sea of opportunities for training and employment', through which it will be announced to companies of the nautical sector all the services of the SOIB in the matter of training and occupation.
This year's edition will be a little bit different, as we will be joining forces with Palma International Boat Show to create a full experience both online and off. We are also preparing more superb conferences and workshops as well as some exciting new networking features.
